Keeping rabbits warm in winter

It is important to keep your rabbit warm as the winter months draw in, especially if you have an outdoor rabbit. RabbitAccessories recommends that you maintain thicker layer of wood shavings, teamed with a few extra generous handfuls of straw / hay for your rabbit to nibble on and keep warm with. Replace the bedding frequently to ensure it is always fresh, clean and dry.

If your rabbit does live outside, please consider keeping the cold winds and ice at bay with a hutch cover, it is a great investment in your rabbit’s health.
